We provide the “traditional” services provided by accountants, from bookkeeping and accountancy to payroll, VAT and tax returns.

We are in a unique position that you will always have qualified and highly experienced people working on your accounting information. This is a result of our origins, where we focused on provision of interim financial management services to SMEs and corporates. We relied on contracted staff who were well experienced in the industries and projects they engaged in, backed by many years of formal education.

Another example of our specific focus and utilising only qualified and highly experienced staff is the provision of Research & Development Tax Relief services. We are more than capable of providing this in-house but prefer to utilise partners who specialise in doing R&D Tax – and nothing else. Likewise, we provide accounting and bookkeeping services to their clients while they focus on the R&D Tax front.

Dedicated Accountancy practice

In medium and larger accountancy practices, bookkeeping and financial accounting work is provided by staff in training or junior staff. While the work of junior staff is reviewed by seniors, it isn’t the equivalent of having an experienced and qualified person analysing the detailed information and accounting records of your organisation. Senior level staff can also identify efficiency improvements in accounting software and record keeping processes which will simplify or enhance reporting functionality going forward.

We do not have to chase billing hours to cover huge overhead costs for our practice. That means you always receive expert guidance and attention to detail at affordable rates. It doesn’t mean that you will only be able to reach us online or be diverted to a call centre. It simply means we have set ourselves up as a small and dedicated practice – so have our associates and those we rely on for specialist knowledge or advice outside our scope of expertise. We are as interested in maximising your profits as you are while we are not interested in being all things to all people or businesses. That’s why we describe ourselves as bean providers and not bean counters.
