- Management and remediation of any open SOX issues.
- Project lead for design and implementation of standard costing system for antibody manufacturing.
- Produce monthly flash reports.
- Produce monthly and quarterly schedules, full management accounts (US GAAP) to Corporate Finance with Hyperion FDM.
- Produce Quarterly Variance Review with Hyperion Enterprise, QTR to prior QTR, QTR to QTR previous year and YTD to YTD previous year.
- Lead Financial Planning and Analysis activities for AbD Serotec group (Bio-Rad Antibodies) – annual plans, quarterly forecasts and monthly variance analysis.
- Provide analysis of results for monthly business review.
- Maintain Fixed Assets register in US & UK GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP (UK) and US GAAP, SOX, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Physician Payments Sunshine Act is maintained.
- Produce annual statutory accounts and US to UK GAAP conversion.
- Design margin reports with complex royalty calculations for antibody group.
- Review and approve payments, including all global royalty and commission payments.
- Manage payroll and related activities.
- Establish a Finance department with improved service levels to and increased cooperation with other functional departments.
- Streamline finance processes and reduce staff complement from 7 to 6 whilst improving department performance.
